Michelle was a loving, caring young lady who was raped and strangled to death and left in a
childrens play area in Queens Road on 30 May 2009. Her killer is a serial rapist and Michelle was
the first of his victims to be killed. He is still on the loose and needs to be caught.
This devastating news has rocked our world completely and our family has had it's soul taken away
from it. Michelle will always be in our thoughts and prayers and will never be forgotten. People
say a light has gone out but I believe her light will shine forever!

I worked with Michelle at TKMaxx and became good friends with her whilst I worked there, after I left we saw eachother occasionally, but I was lucky enough to see her not long before the murder.
She was a lovely woman and the had a lovely send off, I was dissapointed that there were no other TKMaxx staff at the funeral, but it was a lovely service and the doves at the doves at the crematorium was a lovely touch. The family did such a good job at the funeral, you were all amazing.
Michelle was one of the nicest, funny people I've ever met and I miss her a lot.

Michelle was one of my best friends at school and I can't believe I'll never see her again. When I think about the great times we had together it makes me chuckle.
